Women writing Letters

2011-2015

4 Seasons

Inspired by Women of Letters events in Australia, Gailey Road curated a literary performance series called Women Writing Letters in Toronto. Women Writing Letters featured both established and up-and-coming women artists reviving the art of letter writing. Our fourth season ended in April 2015 with writers reading out letters to their 18-year old selves.

Over the four seasons of Women Writing Letters (2011-2015) sixty-seven letters by sixty-one writers were written, performed and published.  Congratulations to all our letter writers!
