In the fall 2022, 10 undergraduate students who work with Tara and Jenny at the University of Toronto conducted archival research on Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (QTBIPOC) moments of activism and care that have challenged heteronormativity, cis-normativity and racism.

In the winter of 2023, they created a set of dramatic verbatim monologues to share their research at the Festival of Original Theatre and the Research Opportunities Program Festival, both at the University of Toronto.

Here is the research poster the 60 Years of Queer and Trans Activism and Care team presented at the Research Opportunities Program Festival on March 16 2023. The 60 Years of Queer and Trans Activism and Care project has been funded by a Social Sciences and Humanities Research (SSHRC )Insight Development Grant (2022-2024).
